Current asthma-related clinical trials include: Severe asthma difficult to treat with steroids: This clinical trial is designed for patients with asthma, which has been difficult to treat with inhaled steroids. This study looks at two different doses of XolairŽ as compared to placebo in patients who have good lung capacity, are on inhaled steroids, yet continue to have problems with their asthma. Moderate to severe asthma inadequately treated with XolairŽ: This clinical trial is designed for patients with moderate to severe persistent asthma, which has been inadequately controlled with AdvairŽ. This study looks at adding XolairŽ to ongoing treatment with AdvairŽ. Moderate to severe asthma treated with novel anti-inflammatory: This clinical trial is designed for patients with mild to moderate asthma. Treatment is with a novel anti-inflammatory drug known as MN-001 (tipelukast).
