Nevada AIDS Research and Education Society offers clinical trials for thetreatment of HIV/AIDS. In addition, we provide clinical trials for problems related to HIV infection and HIV treatment. HIV Resistance:

This clinical trial is designed to determine the prevalence of antitretroviral drug resistance in treatment naïve HIV-positive patients. Patients must be about to begin their first antiretroviral regimen.

Integrase Inhibitor Early Access Protocol:

This clinical trial is designed to provide early access to an integrase inhibitor in combination with optimized background antiretroviral therapy in highly treatment-experienced HIV-1 infected patients with limited to no treatment options.

TMC 125 Early Access Program:

This clinical trial is designed to provide early access to TMC 125 in combination with other antiretrovirals in treatment-experienced HIV-1 infected subjects with limited treatment options.

HIV-Associated Neuropathy:

This clinical trial is designed to study the use of NGX-4010 for the treatment of painful HIV-associated neuropathy. This treatment is a topical patch embedded with the study medication.

Smallpox Vaccine:

This clinical trial is designed to evaluate the safety and immunogenicity of MVA-BN® (IMVAMUNE™) smallpox vaccine in 18-55 year old naïve and previously vaccinated HIV-infected subjects with CD4 counts ≥ 200-500/μl.
